Victek - See all my reviewsAt first I was shocked by the violence in Kung Fu Hustle, but eventually I understood that it's not meant to be taken seriously. It reminded me of the violence in Three Stooges episodes where crazy things happen and then everyone gets up, dust's off and walks away. Sometimes I laughed so hard it was painful. The fight scenes with wire work and special effects are very effective. There is also a thread of childhood friendship which adds a sweet note to the film. There are a number of Special Features which add value if you like shorts about how the special effects were created, etc.
